DJ EZ has gone from has gone from a keen 16-year-old in 1988 to UK garages leading DJ.
First it was house parties and school discos, but by 89 he was on pirate radio station Dance FM as DJ Easy O. Fellow Dance DJs include Mr C and Kenny Ken. Then he moved to Freak FM for four years. But in 1999 he achieved his ambition by graduating to Kiss 100.
Beyond the club scene, EZs compilations were pioneering in their field. The success of 1997s "Underground Garage Flavas" gave rise to the Pure Garage series.
Now on volume five, in December 2001 he extended Pure Garages reach with the Bass Breaks and Beats edition.
But above all what separates EZ from other DJs is his open mind for new garage sounds and his exceptional technical skill as a DJ. Tight mixing and fresh records, theres no greater asset a DJ can possess.
